2. How many people will I meet at a typical speed dating event?

This can vary depending on the event, but at It’s a Date, we aim to introduce you to around 12 to 15 singles per event. We believe this is the perfect number to give you variety without feeling overwhelmed.

3. Is it awkward if I don’t feel a connection with someone?

Not at all! Speed dating is all about meeting new people and having fun. You won’t connect with everyone, and that’s perfectly fine. A polite chat and moving on to the next date is part of the experience. Plus, the quick, fun format keeps things light and easy-going.

4. How long do the dates usually last?

We keep things simple. At It’s a Date, you don’t need to exchange numbers during the event. After the event, you can log into your dashboard, submit your matches, and if there’s a mutual match, you’ll both be notified. It’s a much more relaxed way of exchanging details!

Yes! While not every date leads to love, many of our guests have updated their relationship status through It’s a Date. Whether you find a friend, a date, or something more, it’s all about giving it a go and having fun along the way.

7. How do you decide who to match with?

It’s completely up to you! After the event, you’ll rate each person you’ve met on your dashboard, indicating whether you’d like to see them again as a friend or something more. If the feeling is mutual, we’ll notify both of you —simple as that! You can then start messaging through our platform and see where it leads.

8. Can I attend alone, or should I bring a friend?

You can absolutely attend alone! In fact, most of our guests come solo. But if you’re feeling nervous, bringing a friend could help you ease into things. Either way, our friendly hosts will be there to make introductions and ensure everyone feels comfortable.
