A prime location in Clapham — easy to find but hard to leave. Why? Because Botanica Hall is a welcoming, bright, and comfortable space, making it the perfect setting for an evening of speed dating.

Alongside its contemporary aesthetic and convenient location, you can expect a seasonal drinks menu, an outgoing group of single guests, and an It’s a Date host coordinating an unforgettable evening of introductions in The Olive Bar — a secluded area of this central Clapham hotspot.

Our host will be at the venue from 19:15 to welcome you. Please arrive on time to check in, grab a drink from the bar, and receive a brief overview of how the evening will unfold. You’ll be offered an optional name sticker, along with a pen and note card to help you keep track of the people you meet.

Ladies will be seated at discreetly numbered, well-spaced tables in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating begins, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will signal the end of each date and guide gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order. During table rotations, you’ll have a moment to note your impressions and intentions for reconnecting — for your reference only.

Midway through the evening, there will be a 15-minute comfort break to use the restroom, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.

At the end of the speed dating, the bar will remain open for further socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to provide feedback on dates and await your matches.
